Banger Boys NZ is a family-owned food truck business based in Tauranga, proudly serving the community for the past eight years. Originally from Auckland, we relocated to Tauranga and have since grown into a fully family-operated business. Over the years, we’ve refined our menu, offering a wide variety of catering options for private, corporate, and event services, tailored to meet any needs from full menu selections to custom options. Our sausages are sourced from a premium supplier inAuckland, known for their high-quality, authentic Swiss and Continental varieties, including cabanossi, big cheese kransky, and pork sausages. We've had the pleasure of being part of many local food markets and renowned New Zealand events like Field Days, WOMAD, Bay Dreams, Sound Splash, and Meatstock, bringing delicious flavors to our customers at every stop.

You said: Can you provide your own power supply at an event?

Yes, we can provide our own power supply if needed. Our food truck typically runs off a 10amp caravan plug, but if power isn’t available at the event location, just let us know in advance and we’ll arrange our own power source to ensure smooth service.

What types of events do you cater for? (e.g., private parties, weddings, corporate events, festivals)

We cater for a wide range of events including private parties, weddings, large family gatherings, corporate lunches, staff functions, festivals, markets, music events, and car shows. Whether it’s a moderately sized celebration or a large public event, we tailor our service to suit the occasion and bring the same great food and friendly vibe every time.

What size is your food truck, and how much space do you need to set up?

Our food truck is 4.6 metres long (including the towbar) and 2.4 metres wide. We recommend allowing a bit of extra space around the truck for setup and customer access, so ideally we need a clear area of around 6 metres by 4 metres to operate comfortably.
